Code of Conduct

Core principles

EaseOfBiz is a professional identity and creator commerce platform. Everyone here — creators, brands, and institutions — is bound by these shared standards.

• Respect: treat every person on the platform with professional courtesy, regardless of background, niche, or following size.
• Authenticity: represent yourself, your work, and your credentials honestly. Do not misrepresent your identity, brand affiliations, or portfolio.
• Accountability: take responsibility for the quality of your work and the commitments you make to other users and brands.
• Professionalism: maintain high standards across public profiles, collaboration requests, and dispute resolution.

Zero tolerance

These behaviours result in immediate account suspension without appeal:

• Harassment, hate speech, or threats of any kind directed at any user.
• Sharing, soliciting, or publishing illegal content, including fraud schemes or privacy violations.
• Impersonating another creator, public figure, brand, or EaseOfBiz staff.
• Attempting to circumvent platform systems, payment rails, or security controls.
• Coordinated inauthentic behavior: fake reviews, bot followers, or purchased engagement.

Where required by law, we will share account data with the appropriate authorities.

Professional communication

• Keep collaboration and inquiry exchanges professional and on-topic.
• Do not spam brands or creators with unsolicited proposals.
• Respond to legitimate inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
• Never request or share personal contact details to route a platform transaction around EaseOfBiz.
• Disclose paid partnerships and affiliate relationships as required by applicable law.

Platform integrity

• Only list work, services, or products you're authorised and equipped to deliver.
• Do not duplicate the same listing across multiple slots to game visibility or search ranking.
• Do not use platform systems to collect data on other users for external commercial purposes.
• Collaboration terms must accurately reflect what was agreed — no bait-and-switch after confirmation.
• Report suspected abuse, fraud, or impersonation to our Trust & Safety team.

Professional accuracy & record integrity

EaseOfBiz profiles are permanent, publicly citable professional records referenced by brands, collaborators, and researchers. You're responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit. Only add credits, project histories, and credentials that are accurate and truthful — crediting people for work they didn't do, misrepresenting your role, or fabricating project history violates this Code and may result in suspension or permanent removal.

When in doubt about a credit, use the self-reported tier and note any uncertainty. Verified credit tiers reflect mutual confirmation between the parties or a completed platform transaction — they aren't assigned by user selection.

Reviews

• Only users who completed a real booking or transaction through EaseOfBiz may leave a review for that interaction.
• Leave honest, specific feedback based on your direct experience.
• Never solicit, trade, or purchase reviews to inflate ratings.
• Do not use reviews as leverage in a negotiation or as retaliation.

Reporting & enforcement

• Use the “Report” option on any profile, listing, or content you believe violates this Code.
• Our Trust & Safety team reviews all reports and aims to respond within 72 hours for non-urgent matters.
• Enforcement ranges from a formal warning to permanent account termination, depending on severity and recurrence.
• Accounts removed for integrity violations are ineligible to re-register under alternate accounts.
• Non-zero-tolerance decisions can be appealed within 14 days.
