At the 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in New Delhi, Mary Kom won gold in the 48kg category — her sixth World Championship title, the most by any woman in boxing history. She won the title at 35 years old — 16 years after her first World Championship win in 2002. Her 2018 title is considered the most remarkable as it confirmed her as the greatest women's amateur boxer of all time.
